Over the years, my interest has evolved toward software development, and I’m currently diving into the world of machine learning. Intelligent Robot

Intelligent robotics combines artificial perception, strategic reasoning, and robotic action in potentially unstructured and time-varying environments. This robot underpinning the above requirements, including mapping, path planning, localisation, control, and artificial intelligence methodologies.

The robot's control system integrated with the A* path planning algorithm and YOLO v5 allows the robot to navigate the arena and carry out object classification.

Final Year Project

The human population is at tremendous growth and at the same time, more and more farmland is depleted due to urbanization and industrialization. Therefore, this project is aimed to modify the traditional farming method to meet the ever-increasing food demand.

Integration of this hydroponics farming prototype is composed of three highlights, IoT, mobile application, and self-monitoring algorithm. The IoT and mobile computing are implemented to provide a solution for remote monitoring on the environment and water conditions. The self-monitoring algorithm regulates the water autonomously by taking in pH and nutrient availability in the water every 10 minutes throughout the day.

Autonomous Robot

This project developed an autonomous wheeled robot that can shift pucks into the collection zone. Sensors and actuators are utilized to build a functioning robot system that is controlled using a PSoC 5LP microcontroller. The key features are obstacle avoidance, color detection, and distance sensing.

Apple Leaf Disease Classification

Early and accurate detection of plant diseases is a key factor in the reduction of both quantitative and qualitative losses in crop yield. Hence, there is a need for rapid and reliable detection of plant disease techniques in the agricultural sector.

This project applies ResNet-18 convolutional neural network to predict the diseases on the infected apple leaf, achieving a test accuracy of 96.4%.

Self-Seeding System

As labor costs are increasing, there is an acute need for greater automation in agriculture. The automation is targeted to provide considerable savings on labor charges and increase productivity significantly.

This project developed an automated seeding system, which is capable of sowing and watering the seeds. It is equipped with an artificial grow light to allow photosynthesis to carry out during the scheduled light time. These processes are controlled using the programmable logic controller.
